Sacai has become one of Nike's most popular collaborators over the past few years thanks to their multi-Swoosh, multi-tongue and multi-midsole sneaker designs. Despite the recent success of sacai, the brand hasn't always been at the forefront of streetwear. The brand was started in 1999 by Chitose Abe, who thanks to experience as a pattern cutter for Comme des Garçons and later for Junya Watanabe, was able to build an impressive following from fashion industry leaders. While we've seen many of the leaked colorways already release, the monochromatic versions bring a new vibe to the Sacai lineup.
The latest two colorways of the sacai x Nike VaporWaffle come in simplified versions of two popular Nike color themes, "Sail" and "Off-Noir." These two versions have a much more high fashion feel to them thanks to their almost tonal color makeups.
While no specific release date has been set for the sacai x Nike VaporWaffle "Sail" or the sacai x Nike VaporWaffle "Off-Noir" colorways, according to House of Heat, these should be releasing on the Nike SNKRS app sometime this month.
