There aren’t many releases that continually pack the punch that Travis Scott’s Air Jordan collabs do. His latest single with Future and Southside called Hold That Heat isn’t just a summer anthem, it also accurately describes the feeling sneakerheads get when they hit on one of Cactus Jack’s SNKRS app releases. When you think of Cactus Jack collabs, the color brown is often a part of the story but for his next release, he’s going all black.
The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low “Black Phantom” is not just a new colorway, but it also swaps out the “Cactus Jack” heel logo for a fly logo. The usual suspects from the previous Travis Scott sneaker releases do, however, make a return in the form of the reverse Swoosh logo has become synonymous with Cactus Jack branded sneakers and the “Cactus Jack” on the medial side behind the more traditionally placed Swoosh. According to Hypebeast, these are set to drop on December 15th, so you’ll have to decide how to position them in your thrown next to the Cherry Jordan 11s dropping that same month.
