This Poor Man's Dior x Jordan 1 Is Dropping Soon

Back in 2020, Dior and Jordan Brand teamed up for an unprecedented collaboration that included two pairs of Jordan 1s and matching apparel. Needless to say, the Dior x Air Jordan 1 was one of the most talked-about releases of 2020 and quickly became a part of a buzz-worthy event when they were spotted at the presidential inauguration in early January of last year. While the Diors might be on the wish list for a lot of sneakerheads, the price point makes them unattainable for many. However, this month there is a version of the Air Jordan 1 dropping that might make for a perfect alternative.

This upcoming release of the Air Jordan 1 "Golf" uses a strikingly similar color palette to the Dior x Air Jordan 1. The white base with grey overlays is pretty much begging to be customized with Dior branding. Since this version is the "Golf" version of the AJ1 Low, it uses a slightly more aggressive than usual tread pattern but the semi-translucent finish is very similar to the Dior version. While it might not be a Dior AJ1, you could hit up your favorite sneaker customizer and make it look pretty damn close.
