Celebrity sneakerheads are a dime a dozen at this point, but one of the few who stands out as a true enthusiast and their surrounding culture is Kevin Hart. From his own shoe with Nike to NBA All-Star events, to multiple appearances on Complex Sneaker Shopping, Hart has always made an effort to use his platform for good. Case in point, last summer he opened a plant-focused restaurant in Los Angeles to help provide a healthier alternative to traditional fast food restaurants.
Although it’s not often we talk about custom sneakers, the purpose behind these makes them more than worthy. This month Hart is once again bringing attention to his Hart House restaurant through his passion for sneakers. Fans can enter the raffle for a chance to own this custom Air Force 1 Low, aptly named the “Hart Force 1,” through Inner-City Arts, which will be the beneficiary of the raffle. Inner-City Arts empowers youth through education through a variety of programs throughout the Los Angeles area. Their mission is to “engage young people in the creative process in order to shape a society of creative, confident, and collaborative individuals.”
As for the “Hart Force 1” sneaker, it was designed by Los Angeles-based designer and customizer Paris Jordan. The color theme features a green and white treatment that is inspired by the interior of the Hart House restaurant. In addition, Hart House branding can be seen on the mudguard and the heel counter, while Hart House’s logo appears on the tongue.
You can enter at Inner-City Arts and the winner will be announced in early April.
