Bape's AAPE Has Teamed Up With New Balance

The constant cry of frustration on social media from sneakerheads taking Ls on the SNKRS app might lead you to think that Nike is the only brand that matters, but New Balance has used that to their advantage and build a dedicated following by collaborating with more nuanced creatives. Salehe Bembury and Joefreshgoods selling out their recent collaborations, and longtime partner Ronnie Fieg doing the same, the brand is expanding its reach with another new collaborator, A Bathing Ape's AAPE brand. 

The "dad shoe" vibe might not be for everyone but by giving the New Balance 703 some water-resistant details, rugged materials, and military-like colorways, AAPE has transformed the trail runner into a shoe that is ready for battle with the upcoming winter elements. Plus, with three colorways to choose from, there are options for everyone once the release date rolls around later this year.
