Doh! Bart Isn’t The Only Simpson’s Family Member Getting New Kicks

Fresh off the release of the “Bart Simpson” Nike Dunk Low, Homer Simpson is getting his own version of the Dunk, according to House of Heat. Of course, neither of the Dunks we are talking about is actually connected to the characters they’ve been associated with. Nevertheless, The Simpsons are likely high on the list of shows that many sneakerheads grew up watching and you can expect these to sell out, with or without an officially licensed partnership.

The “Homer Simpson” Nike Dunk High takes the character’s fatherly aesthetic of blus pants and white shirt and applies it directly to its upper. Accenting the “Chill Blue” and white leather uppers are hints of a yellow hue that Nike is calling “Amarillo.” You can find the yellow details on the tongue tag, the heel pull, and the insoles.

Unfortunately, this one does not have an official release date yet, and if the Bart Simpson Dunk release was any indicator, we’re likely still a couple months away from these becoming available.
