The "Pumpkin Spice" Air Jordan 1 Is Dropping Soon
I don't know when Pumpkin Spice season officially begins but it seems like every year the fall favorite shows up earlier in the summer months than the previous year. Whether you're a fan of the "Pumpkin Spice Latte" made famous by Starbucks, a fan of one of the many other pumpkin spice creations that now flood our feeds, or you can't stand it at all, there is no avoiding hearing about pumpkin spice when the fall weather moves in. While it might be simultaneously the thing that everyone loves, and the thing that everyone loves to hate, every brand on the planet has tried, or will try to, jump on the "PSL" bandwagon.
This year, that even includes our beloved Jordan Brand with their entry into the pumpkin spice world coming in the form of the AJ1.
The Air Jordan 1 "Pumpkin Spice" comes in the form of the "Zoom" Jordan 1. That means the archaic cushioning that dates back to 1985 has been replaced with a full-length Zoom Air unit more commonly found in modern basketball shoes. The colorway takes on the hues of everyone's favorite Halloween fruit (it's okay if you didn't know that, I had to Google it, too) with a slightly faded orange colorway throughout the upper. Contrasting the pumpkin vibes is a black toe box, tongue, laces, and underlay panels. Resting atop a white midsole, and two-tone orange and red outsole, this Zoom Air Jordan 1 is branded with a white Swoosh. As with most Zoom Jordan 1 releases, the stitching around the collar has been left unfinished to give it that Off-White look that everyone loves right now.
