LeBron James is preparing for the upcoming holidays in a way that only he (and his Nike Basketball team members) can. While not an official homage to the Nike Kobe 6 “Grinch” that debuted in 2010, King James' upcoming holiday release has the look and feel that will have many enthusiasts making the comparison. Rightfully so, considering his newly released LeBron 20 does have a Kobe-vibe thanks to a low profile design.
The Nike LeBron 20 “Christmas” comes with “Engineered Mesh” green uppers (but not quite “Grinch” green) that have been infused with hints of red. The Swoosh, tongue tips, and forefoot midsole area, feature holiday-themed holly graphics. The same print is visable throughout the outsole of the shoe thanks to a fully-translucent rubber outsole. Extra special details include 3M hits on the Swoosh underlays, iced-out King James-inspired lacelocks, and special insoles with even more themed elements.
Presumably, we can expect LeBron James to lace up this pair of festive kicks for his matchup against Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks on Christmas Day but no official release date or sizing info is available as of now.
