As one of the first brands to collaborate with Jordan Brand, Los Angeles-based Undefeated has been a mainstay in the sneaker rumor mill for years. The legendary Air Jordan 4 collab which was inspired by flight jackets, has popped up on blogs and social accounts on a regular basis for over 15 years. As recently as this year, Sneaker News reported it was potentially releasing in March. Clearly, that never happened, and as wishful as we all may be to add the military-inspired Undefeated colorway to our Sneaker Thrones, the possibility of the Undefeated Jordan 4 is pretty unlikely. Even if it did release, the odds of scoring a pair are even more stacked against us.
However, if you’re a fan of the colorway and collab, Jordan Brand and Undefeated have a more modern silhouette to offer. The Undefeated x Air Jordan 37 is the latest collaboration from the two brands and features the famous olive and orange hues that the sneaker community affectionately refers to as the “Undefeated” colorway, even when Undefeated is not a part of things. For the Jordan 37, Undefeated applies their famous colors to the most advanced and performance-oriented shoe from Jordan Brand. Jordan has tied each new silhouette to the original 30 years prior since the Jordan 31 and the AJ37 is no different. Along with the loose inspiration from the Air Jordan 7, Undefeated has added another nod to their AJ4 collab with “2005” branding on the backside of the tongue. The rest of the details include camo, mesh, suede, and double-stacked cushioning combined with Formula 23, Jordan Brand’s signature foam.
According to House of Heat, the Undefeated x Air Jordan 37 doesn’t have a set release date but it’s a safe bet that these will become available in the coming weeks.
