After making a name for himself by heading up footwear for brands like Versace, and working with names like Kanye West, Salehe Bembury has become one of the most watched young creatives in the sneaker game. His collabs with New Balance and Crocs have sold out and still go for well over retail on the secondary market. His latest collaboration has been a part of the rumor mill for months but now we finally have the details on the latest Salehe Bembury x Crocs release.
Three colorways of the Crocs Pollex Clog are set to release next week in "Alligator," "Stratus," and "Urchin" variations. The nature-inspired color tones come in tonal versions of the Pollex Clog, which itself is inspired by Salehe's own fingerprints. Not only does the unique mold of the shoe come straight from Bembury's hands, the storytelling with this launch also has his vibe and aesthetic. Look for these to drop on May 24th on Crocs.com
