This Air Jordan 4 Has Off-White and Hender Scheme Vibes
Official photos of the Air Jordan 4 "Shimmer" have arrived courtesy of Sneaker News and they do not disappoint. Before we get into the details, at first glance these probably make you think of the Off-White x Air Jordan 4 collab that dropped in 2020. While those are great, the $1000+ price on them makes them out of range for many. If you're a bit more curious as a sneakerhead, these should remind you of a unique Japanese brand, Hender Scheme, who released their handmade, full leather, designed to age with wear, version of the Air Jordan 4 in 2015.
Releasing September 3rd in women's sizing, the "Shimmer" Air Jordan 4 uses a natural shade and premium leather to give this retro a luxurious feel. Taking inspiration from the cosmetics and beauty industry, the colors, translucent details, and mirrored finish on the Jumpman logo further reiterate the look of luxury. While not quite as intentional as the Hender Scheme AJ4, you can expect these Jordan 4s to have a unique look as they wear. Better yet, display them in your Sneaker Throne and flip on the lights to admire their beauty.
