The bright colors and non-traditional details of the first J Balvin collab seemed to have sneakerheads confused. On one hand, it was an Air Jordan 1, which is obviously one of the most popular sneakers in the game. On the other, it just had a lot going on, and the rainbow-colored uppers were much bolder than the traditional AJ1 color blocking people are used to. Thankfully, hindsight is always 20/20 and resale prices at 3-4 times retail or higher, prove that J Balvin’s first Jordan collab has become even more appreciated over time. That said, his next release is about to be even bigger.
J Balvin’s latest “sky is the limit” Jordan collaboration is much more than just a pair of Air Jordans. Along with the Air Jordan 2, a glow-in-the-dark Jordan Super Play slide, a couple pairs of fleece pants, hoodies, tees, and a varsity jacket, are all part of the mix. In addition, accessories like socks, dad hats, and a co-branded J Balvin x Jordan basketball are also dropping on September 15th. You can see all the details on the SNKRS app, and even download J Balvin x Jordan Bitmojis on Snapchat to get yourself hyped up for the release.
